Our Story

Rangan Orthodontics strives to attain and deliver the highest quality of Orthodontic and Craniofacial care under the guidance of Dr Rangan. Dr Rangan is the only full time, female Orthodontist in Pietermaritzburg. At Rangan Orthodontics, we strive for the highest ethical and professional standards. The staff is dedicated towards fostering a friendly, professional and family oriented orthodontic office environment. In the pursuit of clinical excellence, we continually upskill ourselves to provide the most modern, digitally enhanced and technically advanced customised treatment plans.  Affordable payment plans are available.  

Dr. M.V. Rangan

Dr Rangan qualified as a dentist from The University of the Western Cape. Her community service was rendered at R.K. Khan Hospital in Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN). She subsequently managed their dental department for 2 years before transferring to Northdale Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. Here, she continued to work for the Kwa-Zulu Natal department of health for a further 12 years.
